Having previously held director roles at Morgan Sindall and ISG, he will spearhead Merit’s plans for growth in healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, semiconductor and emerging markets.

Tony Wells, Managing Director, Merit Holdings, said: “Matt is a strong addition to the team and brings valuable experience and knowledge to the business. His appointment is part of five-year transformation plan that significantly increases Merit’s market share in specialist sectors.”

Merit specialises in the design and build of clean rooms, process pipework, mechanical and electrical engineering, controls and instrumentation, as well as bespoke civil construction and project management.
